Sept 12 Kickoff Sunday today for the whole congregation!
C.O.O.L. Kids service resumes but outside for the fall season. Kids will have their own communion outdoors today, led by Pastor Paul Hoang. And we’ll celebrate the fall w outdoor pizza lunch right after service!
For Sunday services until further notice:
– All vaccinated w their unvaccinated children (12 & under) are welcome.- All worshipers are required to wear a mask, except those on the chancel (stage).- We will do socially distanced exchange of peace and no receiving line at end.
– Due to Delta variant, we will NOT resume nursery or fellowship lunch in fall.
Building Day update
Thanks to all who came out to beautify the building yesterday! Special thanks to Isaac for coordinating and to Soon Pac for cooking!
Corner Café update
We have a new picture window installed with a great view to Silver Lake! We also reinforced the concrete where the beams are connected to the building. Special thanks to John Gianoulis and all the volunteers who made this happen at very low cost! Also, the café is now the classroom of Underground Seminary.

2021 Permaculture Season through October
Work times are Sundays 1:30-3:30pm ordinarily. Core Team meeting 3p-5p today due to BoD. Next PermaDay is Sept. 18, 9a-5p. Sign up w John N or Laura.
Kids Playdate every Thursday from 10am-noon at Nature Play Area of CAN
They’ll play together while parents connect. Art/craft supplies provided, but bring own snacks and supplies. Contact Thao Hoang or Renae Long w questions.
Recommendations re COVID safety for our church community:
– Keep safe distance from unvaccinated people who refuse to mask.
– Wear N95, KN94, surgical mask, or double mask at exposed places.
– Avoid indoor spaces that don’t require masks, including all indoor dining. Restaurants with patios should be ok for now.
