Stewardship Sunday is today
This Sunday is a time to consider God’s leading in our life together & how we can support the ministry of our church. Stewardship forms will be collected today. If you’d like to know the amount you’ve given to the church so far this calendar year, Deacon Dave Montgomery will provide a summary.

New art “She Wore Green Velvet” on display in central staircase through January
In his latest work, “She Wore Green Velvet,” our own Erik Olson portrays the Mississippi watershed as Mother Earth. This area consists of millions of acres of chemically treated yards and farmland. The chemicals promote verdant growth, causing the land to look like green velvet when viewed from above during the growing season. These same chemicals (not to mention the tons of solid waste) flow into our waterways. The water becomes a poison, wrapping Mother Earth- and the lives that depend on her- like a death shroud.
