Anti-racism training for two of our local elected officials
On May 14 Pastor Jin led training for Mayor of Columbia Heights Amada Marquez and Anoka County Commissioner Mandy Meisner. He taught on the history of racist laws and policies in the USA and the intersection of race and trauma in our society. They were very appreciative for an education they never received. Chief Lenny Austin has requested this training for CHPD’s MAC (Multicultural Advisory Committee) in the fall.
