Fellowship Lunch update – Today is last lunch before summer break

Claire Kim on learning trip to Ethiopia June 5-July 16
Claire will be in Addis Ababa, Jima, & Gambela, traveling with five other college-aged women & one leader to learn how God is at work in Ethiopia. They are being sent by New Wilmington Mission Conf where they’ll speak July 19-26.

Underground Institute’s Postcolonial Survey of the Bible starts tomorrow
Underground Seminary’s two week ConEd event is on “Empire, Kinship, & the Way of Jesus.” OT is June 3-7; NT is June 10-14. More than a dozen people from around the country will participate. Please welcome them with CAN hospitality!

Permablitz Days! Saturdays, June 8, July 13, Aug 17
Help put our permaculture plan into action! We’ll plant trees, flowers, dig swales & more. Details to come. Each day 8:30a-4:30p, lunch and childcare provided.

Pentecost Testimony Sunday & potluck lunch next Sunday June 9
All members welcome to share a 3 minute (or less) testimony during service and to stay for potluck lunch after service next door at the Lake House- please drop food there before service. Feel free to come dressed in your native attire.
