This series is for those who live, work, and play in Minneapolis to develop white body-specific skills for racial justice and healing. Participants will practice noticing, and mobilizing out of, common white body habits of fight, flight, & freeze during racial interactions, replacing w/ new habits that counteract it. Powerful Tools for Caregivers classes this Sept-Dec at First Lutheran-CH
Anoka County is partnering with First Lutheran to offer classes and support groups for caregivers of those suffering long-term illnesses. The six-week series discusses self-care, managing stress, communicating stress, managing challenging situations, emotional literacy, and important care decisions.
