Scandinavia Exploratory Trip – Aug 13-30
Our church encourages our members to be grounded in Christian faith and some-thing more enduring than our present racialized identity. To that end, six staff will travel to Sweden, Norway & Denmark to explore the roots of many of our members. Laura led the way visiting relatives in her ancestral Sweden 2 yrs ago, and John & Seulgee to Norway last year. Pastor Jin, Soon Pac & Dana will also join. We hope to organize a church trip in next few years. Please pray for them!
Youth Retreat at Fr. Hennepin State Park, 8/31-9/1: “Who’s Your Judge?”
Our annual retreat is at Lake Mille Lacs this year! Meet at church at 3pm Fri 8/31 for carpool, back by 8pm Sat. 9/1. Come for swimming, a view from a 100-foot fire tower, and deeper faith & community. For details, contact isaac@cando.org.

Four-Week Financial Institute: 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, and 9/30 at 12p in Chapel
This series led by Daniel Pérez & Hikari Nakane on personal finances to help understand the theology of stewardship & generosity vs. American capitalist consumerism & individualism that holds us captive to the psychology of debt.
