Memorial Service for beloved Elder Josette Bethany [1/15/1939-12/20/2021]
Thanks to all who shared to honor Josette. May she rest in God’s peace. A little background about Josette: Her father immigrated from Croatia in 1914; she was the eldest of three with two younger brothers and they grew up near Hibbing, MN. She and husband Lewis had two daughters; they joined Shiloh Bethany PC in 1976, where she served as an elder for many years, including for CAN. She was instrumental in helping to merge SBPC into CAN in 2006 and transferring the building.

Omicron is a highly contagious variant of COVID-19. Rapid tests may or may not detect this variant, but the PCR test reliably catches the Omicron variations. Omicron’s spikes have evolved to reduce vaccine/booster effectiveness. We are seeing a surge in COVID cases per day here in Minnesota and throughout the USA. If you haven’t yet, please get boosted asap. Thankfully, this variant is less severe, but it is also highly transmissible. Even if we do get infected, it is important that we don’t all catch it at once. Please take precautions, keep social distance, and have good PPE when out and about.
