We will worship at a new location this year, very close to our church – Hansen Park (1555 5th St NW, New Brighton 55112) at 10:30am on July 19. Bring meat to grill or a side, as well as water/drinks, lawn chairs, sunscreen, & outdoor games. This year we’ll have intergenerational relay races – come ready to compete! Corner Café open Sundays 11:20-1p – now serving iced drinks!
Corner Café is now serving iced lattes & Americanos, along with the regular selections. Volunteers needed to make baked goods–contact Steven Forsythe [forsy074@umn.edu]. After this week, the Café will take summer break from its Tuesday morning hours, resuming again in the fall.
“Extruded Environments” Art Exhibit by Erik Olson at Silverwood Park
Our own Erik Olson’s art is on display at Silverwood (just down the road) from June 11-July 31. His art sends urgent messages about pollution, over development, dwindling resources and climate change. There’s a coffee shop too.
